My contribution is gone

Hello, My contribution to the film One Battle After Another was approved on Oct. 10th (#251010-173346-117421) and visible for several days. It now seems to be gone. Thank you for your help in publishing it again.

I have taken a look at your review, and can see that a particular section of it breaches our user review guidelines (linked below), as it can be interpreted as social commentary or "personal opinions on subject matter on which the film is based". Hi Ozzy, Thank you for your quick reply. What I fail to understand is I have already edited the review, and it has been approved and published. Then it was removed without warning (no message, no email). I don't mind editing and re-editing. I'll gladly do it again. What part should be taken out now ? Thank you for your help. Julot

Additionally, we do not support notifications for the removal of submitted content to IMDb. The third paragraph contains commentary that does not meet our user review guidelines in its current state, and therefore is the section that should either be removed or edited in accordance with the guidelines. Hi Ozzy, Thank you. I have re-edited and reposted the contribution following your advice. Apologies but I'm struggling to understand the following : my approved and published contribution was reported for removal by another contributor, but IMDB does not support notifications for the removal of submitted content. Is this contradictory or am I missing a point ? Thank you again for clarifying. Julot

@Julot- Hi, What Ozzy meant there is that yes, your approved review was later reported by another contributor for removal because it breached our guidelines. Therefore, the removal was approved. However, you were not notified of the removal because notifying contributors of a reported and/or removed submission is currently not a feature we support. Thanks!
