Music Videos for Movie OST tracks
If there is a music video for a track from a movie's OST that features movie movie footage, should the movie actors be credited with the archive footage attribute?
Technically the footage does meet the "is used for footage that was shot for an earlier [...] production" criteria, but it feels like an incorrect use as not really "archive" in the sense of old newsreel etc.
Once example I've just come across:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0242999/reference/
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUor4QdU_6M
The music video is from the soundtrack & it's entirely footage of Dario Argento's Phenomena.
Note: I've submitted corrections to standard Music Video format but wondered if the Archive Footage should be removed?

Hi @lopek -
As @eboy mentions you can find that information on our help guides where they should be listed as archive footage.
Cheers!

The guide says this, I guess assuming that the whole video is taken from the movie footage:
”If the entirety of the video is compiled of footage from a film then the cast should be listed as archive footage.”
IMDb staff probably should clarify

Hi @lopek & @eboy -
Following up here, we confirmed that if the music video footage is only showing clips then the credit should be considered "archive footage". If there is a mixture of both clips and new footage on the video, then this does not qualify as an "archive footage" credit.
I hope this helps clarify!
