music database

Why not start a music database with the same format as the current IMDB?
Currently IMDB is the best movie database ever. It would be so cool to have a similar one for music and musicians.

Hi, ポールエアズ. Format? So, the idea would be to have title pages and name pages? The title types would be "score", "song", "poem", "album" and "series"? Seems like sites organized in such theme and way already exist. They simply need more support from volunteers and donors.

I agree. I would love to have a music database that would tell me who the musicians are and which instruments they play on a given album. Who wrote the lyrics? What type of guitar? Who created the cover artwork?
