MTV Making the Video - music video directors listed as "directors"?

Hi.

Just happened to notice that there are various music video directors listed as "directors" in the "Making the Video" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Making_the_Video ) series for MTV. I'm not super-familiar with the series, but I assume that even if they show the actual music video at the end of the episode, it should be covered with "movie connection". The actual credits of the (actual) music video then goes to the title page of the (actual) music video.

Meaning, that e.g. Wayne Isham should have a "director" credit in the title page of "Puff Daddy Feat. R. Kelly: Satisfy You" music video, but not in the episode of "Making the Video" covering the making of "Puff Daddy Feat. R. Kelly: Satisfy You".
