Moving a number of episodes into a separate series
A few years ago I have added web-series "Lazy Game Reviews" (2008-) as well as "LGR Thrifts" (2014-) to IMDb. Since then someone added a lot of the episodes, which is mostly a good thing. However, either not knowing that the two are separate series or disagreeing with my assessment most of the latter's episodes were added as those of "Lazy Game Reviews" (2008-), creating a huge mess. Some of the episodes are added to both series (for example here's the pilot in one of the series, and here's the same episode also added into another). I'd love to know how to proceed untangling this situation.
My plan so far is:
-To merge the episodes and rename them so that the series would be correct;
-Unify titles and order;
-Also correct the order of the main series after episodes are excluded.
Would that be a correct way to proceed with that situation? Are there any possible mechanisms for a bulk move which would require less rechecking?
I worked with Clint Basinger, the creator of both shows, on a few titles and he said that "LGR Thrifts" (2014-) is practically the only series on the channel that is distinctive from mainland, moreover having its own episode order. From the production standpoint it is also the only series that uses its own opening and format to an extent of a different series.
On a related note similar problem exists with "Good Bad Flicks" (2010), since there is a subseries titled "Exploring", however for a large amount of time it used the same opening as the main bulk of the series, so it could be considered a part of the same series. LGR situation, on the other hand definitely requires separation of the two series and episode corrections.

Thanks for flagging this.
Yes the correct and easiest way here is to submit episode merge requests and then updating episode order etc.
If you experience difficulties in updating those then please feel free to flag this to us.
