Movies screened at Sundance Film Festival listed as TV episodes
Searching the history of the festival, I came across several independent films that competed for the festival awards (Grand Jury Prize) in early editions, which were listed as TV episodes of the American Playhouse series on IMDb, and those are:
1. A Flash of Green dir. Victor Nunez, screened at festival in 1985, listed as TV episode in 1986.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087267/awards
2. The Killing Floor, dir. Bill Duke, TV movie, first shown in 1984, then on Sundance 1985. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087554/awards
3. The Roommate, dir. Nell Cox, Sundance 1985, on TV in 1986. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088016/awards
4. Waiting for the Moon, dir. Jill Godmillow, Sundance 1987, same year aired on TV. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094286/awards
5. Stacking, dir. Martin Rosen, Sundance 1987, on TV in 1989. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094023/awards
6. The Silence at Bethany, dir. Joel Oliansky, Sundance 1988, on TV next year, 1989. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096108/awards
Can they be separated from the series and listed both as standalone films and as a part of series?
EDIT: For some reason those awards links below are mostly incorrect, I can't put corrected ones whatever I do, weird, but you can see them in Awards section on individual pages.
Thanks!

Hi plur62 -
If the titles were first released/screened as a film at festival, then they should be listed as a standalone film title on the site. If the film was later released as an episode under a TV Series banner (such as "American Playhouse"), then we can list the episode title as a shell episode title - meaning that all the title data will be retained on the original film title page and the episode page will be blank, but will list a connection and trivia item identifying the listing as being a rebroadcast.
To clarify before any changes are made, the titles you referenced were first screened independently at the Sundance Film Festival, prior to being released under the "American Playhouse" series banner, is that correct?

Hi plur62 -
These titles have now been adjusted, the titles will be listed as standalone film titles and will also display as shell episodes under the "American Playhouse" series banner. The changes should be live on the site shortly.
Cheers!

I'm not sure if any of the staff will look at this thread since it's marked as solved, but I must report 3 more movies screened at A film festivals that should be corrected, they are all currently in TV episodes category, although they had shown in Competition at festivals in Berlin, Cannes and Venice.
1. She's Been Away dir. Peter Hall, shown in Competition at 1989 Venice Film Festival, aired on TV in 1991.

2. À toute allure dir. Robert Kramer, first screened at 1982 Cannes Film Festival in Competition, then TV in 1983.

3. Les gens d'en face dir. Jesús Garay, premiere at 1993 Sitges Film Festival, shown in Competition at 1994 Berlin Film Festival, aired on TV in 1995.
