Mischaracterized actors by role

@Fran​ -- HI. The series does not have episodic end credits by character name. The following is the only media image I could find which I believe is actor Tracy Letts, who plays Mr. (no forename given as far as I know or could catch) Chandler, which means Francis X. McCarthy plays Grandpa Adams -- he is the only actor on the episode remotely old enought to play the grandfather and he is still decades younger than the actress who plays Grandma Adams, LOL.

But as these things bug me too, i found the episode on YouTube and dissected it to compare what is written on IMDb to the actual episodes guest stars names used in the dialogue, this is what I found.

Samuel Bliss Cooper…..Andrew Nelson

Eugene Lee…………………Sheriff Jerome Cunningham

Tracy Letts…………………..Alan Chandler

Samantha Smith…………Kate Wilton

Francis X. McCarthy……Grandpa Fred

Christina Carlisi…………..Lynn Chandler

Now the video I found had the end credits cut off, so if Lois Hall's character name is correct, then I guess Grandpa Fred's last name should be 'Adams' although the name 'Adams' is never used in dialogue and their daughter Lynn Chandler is mentioned as being called 'Lynn Nelson' when she was 13 years old, so it's a strange discrepancy but not necessarily a mistake.

The other potential mistake I noticed is that the boy Paulie Chandler is listed on IMDb as being called Pauline Chandler, I know the end credits are written in a cursive style so possibly someone misread them, that'd need looking at if anyone has a full copy of the episode with end credits.

You can prove all this using timestamps and a link to a viewable copy of the episode if you can find one.
