Midway Arcade Treasures & Origins deleted?

I just noticed that Midway Arcade Treasures 1-3 and Midway Arcade Origins (all video games) were deleted.

Link to MAT1 (2003) that now returns a 404 error: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5719096/

Link to MAT2 (2004): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5718814/

Link to MAT3 (2005): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0818863/

Link to MAO (2012): https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6714346/

I'm not sure why these links no longer work- can anyone explain why these were removed? They are official games, so they should be listed on the site.

My guess would be that these are compilation titles and all the individual games already exist in the database. IMDb also doesn't include 50-in-1 DVD box sets as additional titles.

@adrian This is my opinion, but I feel like video game compilations are a different beast than "complete collection" or multi-movie DVD sets (I agree, those shouldn't be listed on IMDB because they're redundant). One major difference is that they're interactive. But also, game compilations frequently have unique menu interfaces that weren't in the original games, trivia/behind-the-scenes videos, and sometimes there are even emulation differences that make them different presentations of the original games- see San Francisco Rush on Midway Arcade Treasures 3, which is not a carbon copy of the arcade but a version made from the ground up to imitate the arcade. To me, that makes them unique entities rather than a bunch of existing discs slapped together in a boxset.

Hi ianlueck -

As Adrian mentioned above, we don't allow compilation titles on the site.  If the games were released as a compilation video game, you can reference this in the Trivia section of the existing games' title page, but separate listings under a compilation title are not eligible.

I hope this helps clarify.
