Merging two pages for one production

There are two pages for one production.  They need merged.  I tried to do it under Title Correction, but was unsuccessful.  To merge, it said that the title correction must match exactly the title that the first is to be merged into.  When I typed the exact title, though, it was rejected because it said it was in the wrong format.  When I put it into the correct format, then the titles would not match and would not be merged.

Could someone better at this than me make the correction?  The two pages are both for ABC's Silver Anniversary Celebration.

Here is the link to the correct page - the one that needs to stay.  Many of the stars are listed, writers, producers, crew and lots of the information.  ABC's Silver Anniversary Celebration (TV Special 1978) - Full cast & crew - IMDb.

Here is the link to the other.  Only six of the stars are listed, no producers, and very little else.  ABC 25th Anniversary (TV Special 1978) - Full cast & crew - IMDb

Both have the date as 1978 in the title, but further down the page, the correct one has the Release Date as February 5, 1978, and the incorrect one has the Release Date as January 31, 1978.

Any help at all is appreciated.

Hi @spring,

tt1189308 should be merged into tt0262202 because the latter page was created first. This is how:

  1. Open tt1189308 page;
  2. Click "Edit page" and enter the Title Correction;
  3. Input "ABC's Silver Anniversary Celebration (1978/II) (TV)" without quote marks into Correction field, and your explanations, then click "Check these updates";
  4. If you have a yellow-background warning, then check the box "Warning understood, go ahead anyway";
  5. Click "Re-check the updates" and follow instructions if any.
