Merged two accounts

Hi There.

I was trying to remove a credit from 2006 that listed me incorrectly as an actor and now my profile has been merged with that person's page.  Can you please let me know what I need to share with you to show my name etc so you can remove this credit.   We have the same first name, but we are two different people who happened to work on the same film in 2006 (I was uncredited in production and she was an actress).

Thanks!

Hi, Colleen:

Is Smash the only credit that is wrong in the filmography listed on your page?

I mean, is the information about you and the rest of the titles (Alive, Jexi, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Prufrock and The Talking Head) correct?

ETA: After watching the trailer for The Talking Head, I think the keyword non-fiction is incorrect, because clearly the characters are scripted. I have submitted the contribution #221031-145403-732000 to remove the keyword. This way, the credit that is currently in your "Self" section will be moved to the "Actress" section.

Thank you for fixing that!  I must have missed that correction :)   Smash was not an acting credit so you can remove that one (that was the other Colleen).  There is new bio information that is not mine in the top section as well that needs to be removed- I assume that was from her profile.  I was not born in the US...   Let me know if you need me to share information on that front.

Also, I should note that I am a European citizen and do not approve of having PII, correct or incorrect, on my page either.

Thank you,

Colleen

Thanks, Colleen. Just a couple of questions:

Thank you for fixing that!  I must have missed that correction

Should I then assume that you indeed played the role of Jill Anders in The Talking Head?

There is new bio information that is not mine in the top section as well that needs to be removed- I assume that was from her profile.  I was not born in the US...

This is what puzzles me. If, by your words, we take all the other credits on your page as true (pending your confirmation of the second actress credit)...

...the only new information that has appeared in your bio are two titles recognized by you (Jexi and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile), because the rest of the data already appeared there at least since August 2011 (more than 11 years ago).

Assuming that you were indeed born in 1977 (KNEELOCK1977), the only debatable information would be the place of birth (Chicago). It is possible that you are a European citizen, but I understand that you moved to the United States very early, because the two references I have found of the Colleen Butler who works at Territory Studio (according to Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile's info) place most of her life trajectory there (#1, #2).

This is what is quite puzzling, especially because credits like Jexi already appear on your page for more than 2 years, and that's why it would be nice if you could clearly confirm which credits are yours and which are not.

Just to clarify -- you are saying that you appeared in The Talking Head (2010) but not in Smash (2006)?

@Giancarlo_Cairella

Hi!  Credits are fine other than Smash. Someone on your team just updated Talking Head earlier so maybe that's why it's showing as pending?    I have dual citizenship with the EU that entitles me to remove personal information on a public facing site.    If you cannot do this please let me know where I can file a Subject Access Request.    I'm not a public figure and removal of that specific information will not impact your services in anyway.

Thanks!

Hi, Colleen:

Credits are fine other than Smash

Having confirmed that you appeared in The Talking Head, I guess you won't be able to remove the credit for Smash...

I can understand that the premise of the short film is a bit embarrassing, but the reality is what it is, and the information on the page is actually correct, so it cannot be removed. Sorry.

P.S. I don't work for , but I assume Giancarlo's reply (who does), will be the same as mine (and I leave it to him to resolve your request to remove certain information...)

As per our response on the other thread/question on the same issue, IMDb doesn't remove correct factual information and we have already verified that the credits are correct as listed. For any other further questions regarding information listed on the IMDb profile located at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2541083/ please contact our support staff directly as we can't really provide support related to biographical information in a public forum.
