Merge two people/pages?
I'm sure it will require IMDB staff to resolve this, but I created a page for someone on my client's TV show, and when the guest claimed his page *from his own IMDB pro account* it created a separate page.
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm14283487/
https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm14283487?s=66c26021-8776-c14b-2a7f-50c7bc248f44
Can someone here help with this?

Hi jlknauff-
I have checked the name merge and I can see that it has been done. There is no longer a duplicate and your only name page from these two pages is now Brandon Bachik.
Cheers!

Jlknauff: When you refer to his page on IMDbPro, do you mean this page instead?
https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm14283551/
That page has a photo on it and is for Brandon Bachik (II). Both of the pages you linked above are for Brandon Bachik (I).
If all of these pages belong to this person, let us know, and the contributors or staff here can advise on how to get them merged.

Hello @jlknauff.
From the links you've provided pages seem to be adequately linked and there are no extra doubles.
IMDb and IMDb Pro are mirror services so if you have IMDb Pro and claimed the page, you manage one through another.

Yes, that is the other one. There should only be one guy by this name. (There was none when we first added him.)

Jlknauff: To merge the two Brandon Bachik name pages (as indicated in my message above), go to the page for Brandon Bachik (II) at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm14283551/ and click "Edit page".
On the next screen, on the Name Merge line, select "Add merge". Scroll down and click "Continue".
On the next screen, there will be a blank space on which to enter his corrected name. Enter it as:
Bachik, Brandon (I)
Un-check the box marked "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Brandon Bachik)'". It's not relevant to this situation.
There will also be an Explanation box. In that box, enter something like "The pages for Brandon Bachik (I) and Brandon Bachik (II) are both for the same person, so these pages should be merged." Also, explain how you know Brandon and how you know that both pages are for him. Click "Check these updates".
On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you wish to merge this name page into the page for Bachik, Brandon (I)? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates".
On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".
Allow a few days for the correction to be processed in full.
Good luck!

Awesome! Thx! I just submitted it.
P.S. If I remember correctly, you helped me previously with a different issue. Thanks! You're a rock star!

Ugh...here's the message I got this afternoon:
Reason: Unable to verify.
Your contribution has been declined. We have been unable to verify your contribution. Unfortunately we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided...
I am the publicist (as well as a host) for the show, so if I'm saying he's in it, he is, but I don't know how I could possibly provide any evidence since the episode hasn't aired.
Any advice here?
