Marvel movie list is incomplete

@crx_brett If I recall, none of those shows you mention heralded the bit about being Marvel like that 1989 movie did. Even included Stan Lee in the opening credits. That, plus the Kevin Feige tie-in I mentioned says that it should be included. You, of course, said it all in your opening comment, "I don't believe ..." I, however, do.

@fredstevens MCU is a franchise started with 2008 Iron Man movie, it does not mean "all Marvel movies ever made", it's not really up to who believes what. It's not a matter of believing.

You need to show a link of your claim about Kevin Feige statement. I'm not aware of any such statement made by him. At most he was mentioning characters such as Daredevil, The Punisher from the Netflix shows, which were always MCU.

 Google is your friend. Or DuckDuckGo, if you prefer privacy. Either way, Feige has been heard re: Punisher, Daredevil, Wilson Fisk and other players. The fact that there was a movie made in 1989 that definitely says it was Marvel in the opening credits puts it right up there with the newer MCU offerings. Yeah, there was a Republic Pictures serial of Cap't America back in 1940 but it was soundly ripped as total trash and not representative of the comic version at all, so it doesn't count. Dolph Lungren's version does. You may not believe that, and that's ok. Your belief doesn't change the truth, though.

Like I said already, he's talking about the Netflix shows, did you read the link? I don't really get what you're even trying to claim or change or what is or where is the issue.

Again, it's not up to who believes what. People who make them decides what's included or not. MCU does not mean "all Marvel movies", it's a brand, a franchise. Even not all new Marvel movies from today is included, let alone things from decades ago.

@fredstevens It's not even clear what are you talking about, what search you do, what comes back. Give some links, you're most likely talking about some user lists made by users.

@mbmb Well, all I can say is that I go to IMDB's search and put in List all marvel movies, or I go to Google and do the same and whichever way I search, all lists start with Cap't America, the First Avenger which isn't true. It was not the first Marvel comic made into a movie with Marvel in the opening credits. That belongs to the 1989 Punisher flick. And THAT is all that I am saying.
