Make list of trivia, quotes and reviews more efficient

I suggest to create a ratio to autohide contributions that have passed a specific number of negative feedback, so the list of data is more efficient and not so long.

I've noticed in the past year for sure that, for instance, there has been an abuse in trivia regarding actors connections to other movies, with an overwhelming amount of negative feedback for not being helpful. I attach a screenshot as example.

The ratio perhaps would change according to category, i.e., is not obviously the a same a review than a trivia. But the logic would be still valid.

Well, no. Every (accepted) trivia should stay visible on the site. That’s the whole purpose. They can, of course, be corrected or even improved (and in some cases - even be challenged for deletion).

It’s true that these ”connection” type of trivia items often feel a bit outdated, but since they’re accepted by the IMDb stuff, they should stay.

There are some movies and some sections within them that have hundreds of entries with no valuable data, as dictated by us (users) through the voting system. This essentially means that we are the ones saying this information has no value, not the platform itself.

In that case, what is the use of the thumbs, then, if not to influence content visibility? If you need to "challenge" an entry you deem unhelpful, it appears to be an inconvenient procedure. This could be easily automated by making use of the existing voting functionality.

From the user experience perspective, it would be considerably more optimal to read first what the majority considers useful, while still offering the option to explore content with lower ratings. This would create shorter scrollable pages that feel more organically curated, efficient, and optimized.

Just to clarify, I'm not proposing to delete content, but to hide it automatically with the option to reveal it on demand. A label like "This entry has been hidden automatically due to high amounts of unhelpful feedback (or 'dislikes'). Click to see it." could work well, or the classic eye icon toggling between open and closed states would also be intuitive.
