Locking my imdb profile so no one else can make an edit except me

Thanks for checking on this Michelle. My entire page is sabotaged. So I'd say almost all the credits are wrong. I am attaching the tracking information (images) which dates from 2006-2021 that are all accurate. Everything else apart from these attached images is all wrong and.

any updates on this? the attack keeps happening, they changed my bio and also altered my tags etc. Can anyone alter the changes i asked for sooner? Its been quite sometime.

@vdh​ It's on their to do list, it could take a long time to being fixed. They'll only contact you when there is an update on the problem and likely won't respond otherwise, I know from experience but I hope it's not too long.

If you need a CV for work, have you considered setting up a personal website if you don't have one yet, adding PDF resumes and such. That'd look very professional and you can have complete control over it.

Hi @VonPunk I dont need the CV, we run a company and  I am quite anxious that most client check credits on imdb which is when I was hope they would expediate it, or even delete my profile permanently. I would rather have no information than have false information

Can something be done about this? Its kind of jeopardizing the projects that are about to land to us. People use IMDB as a gospel for movies.  Its been two months. Can someone please help me out on this ???

@vdh​ To the user, I'm sorry about the mislabeling of your credits. I wanted to let you know that other actors like Rick Avery have been wrongfully mislabeled on the Shimajiro IMDB pages and Doraemon IMDB pages.

I'm trying to fix the Shimajiro and Doraemon IMDB pages so that viewers won't get confused anymore.

I would like to restore the IMDB credit pages back to correct accurate forms. If possible, I want to get permission to be promoted to be an administer for only for the Shimajiro and Doraemon and Pororo the Penguin pages. I have years of experience on contributing on IMDB and have tried to be of good faith and I want to guard the Shimajiro and Doraemon IMDB pages.

I wish I could help you out and yes I agree I think your IMDB page needs to be locked out. I want the IMDB staff to start having stricter rules and policies that will prevent mislabeling credit vandalism in the future.

@vdh​ They are aware of it, as I posted before, all you can do is wait, it could take anywhere from 3 months to a year for the team to get to it, as the page belongs to them, they will not rush it through I'm afraid. They haven't even blocked the troll from adding more and more false data yet, who knows what else he is vandalising in the meantime.

Best bet is to quietly wait for an official reply letting you know when they've fixed it even it takes months. Not what you want to hear I know but you should know it can be normal for it to take a long time and it's not being ignored.

@directorjkyoung​ You have to go to the first post and click 'unfollow' underneath it, when you post in a thread it automatically makes you 'follow' it and you have to opt out to no longer receive notifications for it.

@vdh​ Staff likely won't reply as they've passed it on to the team that deals with this type of vandalism and it'll be in the queue to be dealt with.

I did get a few hundred credits deleted for you last year but the vandal just resubmitted them all and undid all that. I'm not sure why after the initial conversations here the person wasn't prevented from contributing anymore data or if they were why it continues.
I know it's annoying and I've waited over a year for vandalism to be looked at so it can take awhile.

I do appreciate you helping me out last year with deleting several miscreditss. However I am unable to understand on is why imdb does not lock my page and give rights either only to me or to their staff? I am giving a talk next week and People are going to be checking out my credits. But this disaster is hard to explain, especially when it looks horrifying. 

Now that I tried changing and deleting things off, the pages just doesnt load because there are several thousands of ridiculous trolling. 

I am lost and this does impact a lot on what I do. If there is no solution, it would be best to delete everything off my page and I can start afresh.
