Location Management --> Moving Between Categories

It seems to happen frequently that moving between categories doesn't always work.  I delete from Other Crew and add to Location Management.  Or (as in the case of the item below), I delete from Location Management and add to Other Crew.  Either direction and even with explanations provided in the submission, I will get declined.  Am I doing something wrong?

More specifically, can someone push through this specific submission...?

Contribution #200629-030910-550000

It is in regards to the job title Location Auditor.  That's an accountant who is working with a distant unit instead of back at the studio production office... but s/he is still an accountant (just as a grip working with that unit is still a grip).  Because of the word "Location", some accountants got accidentally moved when the category split happened.  In the contribution number above, I am moving back to Other Crew some entries for one particular person.  Can you approve?

Thank you!

Hi Scott -

I have now moved the credit to the "Miscellaneous Crew" section, the change should be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

Michelle, thank you.  You are always very helpful.  Normally, when you do these fixes, it's online in less than 24 hours.  It's now been over 3 days, but I haven't seen any changes yet.  Could you please check that everything went through??

By the way, it sounded like you want to move ALL of the "location auditor" credits from location department to miscellaneous crew.  If so, that would be great.  Here are four example people that would benefit from such a mass correction:

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Location Auditor.

I recently noticed that the "location auditor" job title needs to be migrated from location department back to miscellaneous crew since it's actually an Accounting department job.

We had a discussion about it here....

https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/location-management-moving-between-categories

The IMDb rep said she'd fix it, but it's been too long now with no changes appearing online yet, so I don't think the fix ever went through.

Could somebody please read the old thread above and this one, and then put in the change?

Thank you!
Scott

Hi Scott -

Apologies for the delay in replying, unfortunately the updates were initially stuck in the system but I have now pushed them through and the changes (from 'location" to "miscellaneous crew") should be live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

Hey - if by "show" you mean a TV show then this guide should have everything you need to know:
