List on credits, but didn't work on project - all attempts to remove the credit are declined

I have submitted about 20 requests to have the "Special Thanks" credit associated with a series removed.  I did not work on the series.  I am not listed in the onscreen credits of the series.  I am only listed on IMDB with special thanks.  How can I prove I DIDN'T work on something so I can have the credit removed from my profile?  I get canned answer of needing proof - I just don't understand how you can prove you didn't do something.  Help, please.
