Lethal Weapon (2017) season 2 episode 8 'Fork Getta Bout it' and Human Target (2011) Season 2 episode 11 'Kill Bob'

Some years ago I brought this to your attention in the hope it could be added in the trivia section of each of these episodes but nothing has been done about it - Lethal Weapon (2017) season 2 episode 8 'Fork Getta Bout it' was clearly written as a homage to the Human Target (2011) season 2 episode 11 'Kill Bob', even going so far as having the same actor at the centre of these episodes (Todd Grinnell) appear in both. It would be nice if someone added this in the trivia or reference sections of these episodes as the writers went to some effort to make this happen. Thank you.
