Language selection error

Attempting to select the language for a new addition, I received an error message indicating that I needed to add the “order”. This has happened to me with the last three titles that I added - they only processed when I skipped the language selection.

Skip: This policy was changed a few months ago. All entries for Languages must now include an order number, that is, the ranking of how much that language was spoken in the title compared to other languages. So, for example, if a film is mostly in English with a small amount of Spanish dialogue, English should have order number 1 and Spanish should have order number 2.

If the title you are dealing with is in English only, just make sure to enter order number 1 for English to submit that language.

(A few months ago, it was noticed that languages that did not have order numbers were being listed before languages that did, and they shouldn't be. So IMDb instituted a policy to reduce the problem by requiring all new language submissions to include order numbers.)

I hope this helps. Good luck!
