Language Evidence

How do I provide an evidence for the deletion of a language that was not spoken or used in any way in a film? My question pertains to the reference number #201216-055141-213000 for the deletion of Berber Languages from the film 'Cinemawala'. I have seen the film and can vouch for the fact that the main language of the film is Bengali with a few words and phrases in Hindi and English, which are barely negligible. No other languages are spoken in this movie. I have twice tried to remove this wrongly added language (added probably by some troll) without success due to the IMDB staff being "unable to verify", the first time in 2016 and the second time yesterday. How was it then that Berber languages was added without any verification or evidence? How does one prove that a certain language was not spoken in a film? Does one have to screen the film to audiences familiar with every random incorrectly added languages then?

Hi sp0623 -

As Karen_P mentioned above, unfortunately, there isn't an easy way to verify the absence of a title language on a film.

If you are certain that Berber languages were not spoken within the film, please re-submit your request.  If you have any online sources/evidence to help verify that the film was strictly Bengali, please also include those links and our editors will take another look.

Cheers!
