Known for

I understand that "Known For" is based on some IMDB formula but wonder how that formula works. My "known for" are a movie that I didn't cut (I've asked for it to be removed several times), a one season show I did for BET,  a show I did one season of for OFTV, and a 2 season show for Spike TV which isn't even a network anymore. Some how these carry more weight than the several seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County, Botched, and Vanderpump Rules I've edited.
