Kill bogus reviews
Eliminate Bogus "Agenda" Reviews on IMDB. Seems there are more and more movies "rated" by creators, employees, family, friends of the producers / actors / crew, etc. Perhaps an IMDB policy should be set in which they have to agree-- every review-- that they are in no way connected to the film-- with severe repercussions if it is later discovered that they were connected. Can't have a rule without teeth-- so find some teeth iron enough to scare even the most brazen bogus review writer. People are increasingly complaining about the bad reviews showing up here and skewing the actual rating of the film. We're seeing more and more ratings for short college projects giving 10 starts to a flick that doesn't deserve 3. Perhaps a "BOGUS REVIEW" button to alert IMDB to such glory posts. I don't have a full solution-- just see the problem very clearly. No one likes wasting time reading bogus reviews-- and especially dislike watching a crappy movie because 30 people fraudulently claimed it's the best movie ever. Life is too short for such agenda-based nonsense.
