Keywords for podcasts?

What is the correct way to categorize keywords for podcasts? As “plot-detail”? (Like talk shows?) As “reference-to-“? Some are using “Other,” which seems incorrect and confusing. What?

Hi bradley_kent- For Podcasts, keywords should be treated the same way just like any other movie/series title, describing the podcast series and/or podcast episodes. So, ideally, "plot-detail" should be included if any notable object, concept, or action takes place within the podcast or podcast episode. For example, if there is a podcast about a murder mystery, you can have plot-detail keywords (ie. weapon used, crime scene info, etc.) As per "Other," for example, it should be used in cases were it doesn't fit within the subgenre or plot detail. Cheers!

The thing is: Do podcasts have plots? I guess they do, since talk-shows are acknowledged this way. Podcast keywords are being inundated with the “Other”category. I have come across hundreds/thousands of these. There should probably be a block or some kind of warning to avoid that miscategorization. Although some podcasts also now have video, most don’t. Also, some podcasts have reference-to- keywords. This is curious since, without video, EVERY keyword is a reference-to-. Perhaps all keywords for Podcasts should be reference-to-’s. Just wondering...

Plot detail/“reference-to” would be limited to the episode level, while all other categories (except Plot detail/“reference-to-“) could apply at the series level. Make sense?
