Jerry Jerome Birth Date-Death Date Problem
There are two entries for Jerry Jerome one of which has a birth date, death date & death date problem.

Born: June 19, 1912 East St. Louis, Ill
Died: Nov 17, 2001 Sarasota , FL
Jerry Jerome (nm1075402)
Born: June 19, 1912 Brooklyn, NY
Died: Nov 17, 2001 Sarasota , FL
I know the dates and places for Jerry Jerome (nm1075402) are correct. He was a well know saxophonist who played with several big name jazz bands. Several of his obituaries can be found with a quick internet search most notably in "the Guardian" and "the Tampa Bay Times.
I believe the information for the "actor" Jerry Jerome (nm0422025) to be incorrect. I can find no information on this person. It is highly improbable that two people with the same "name" will have the same birthday and death-day...let alone the same place of death. Searching Florida's Death records...I find only one death record for Jerry Jerome...an it is for the musician. I also do not think that they are the same person...the obituaries I find speak only of a musical career...not an acting career.
Anyone have information on the actor?
