It's A Wonderful Life: Actor who played Mickey

IMDB, as well as some other sites like Wikipedia, etc., lists an actor by the name of Mark Roberts (aka Bob Scott) as the actor who plays Mickey, the mischievous consoler of Freddie Othello (Carl Switzer of "Alfalfa" fame). However if you look at any photo of Mark Roberts, it is clear as day this isn't the same actor - I don't care how many times you tell me it's him. Some of you might disagree and well, that's that. But for those of you do agree this obviously isn't the same guy - the question is: Who is he? We may never know....but all I do know is Mark Roberts is not the actor who played Mickey.

Photos below for comparison. Top row: Mark Roberts. Bottom row: Mystery actor.

Hi All -

Thanks for such a thorough investigation and observations! The two credits have now been moved to a new name page listing under "Bobby Scott (XII)".

Cheers!

@Michelle Thank you for fixing that - and a big thanks to mbmb for providing the AI to back it up!

I am happy to see this corrected. Bobby (Robert) Scott was my uncle. It was a family tradition to watch the movie or at least him and Alfalfa in the pool scene. Here is some info on him to help fill in the mystery.https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/bakersfield/name/robert-scott-obituary?id=25452024.  My father and his siblings did a lot of ads and bit parts while growing up in Hollywood, mostly uncredited.

Thank you for sharing that, and also for the link. So little information is available on him, just the obit reveals so much about him that we would never know otherwise. I'm glad he lived a good long and apparently successful life!

Thank you again for sharing about your uncle.
