Issue with tracking contributions.

I've submitted a few updates for new episodes of a show. I've noticed that those episodes have been added, but when I go to my history and click on "Track Contribution," it still says pending. What's going on?

I'm so glad you posted. I've had 4 title-adds (not episodes) pending since 29Mar (very unusual for me), and your description caused me to check. Those new titles are online, and couldn't find anything pending about the one I checked.

https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history

says that 1 item is pending on each title, but when I click to the Contribution details, all but 1 item shows as pending.

In case IMDb needs specifics, the contribs are:

220330-005522-542000

220330-011905-749000

220330-015731-309000

220330-021907-596000

I've not had problems with subsequent contribs, or with other types of contribs on the same day.

The title has been created, but does not show as such in tracking.

At this point, it only has some of the cast:

Full disclosure: this contribution was created under beta conditions. See this post.
The status report does _not_ show the title as created (no link on the title), and shows contradictory pending counts on the summary page (10)

I had reported exactly this issue on October 2021 to the help desk with some submission numbers and this was the response from Meredith there on 22 October 2021:

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

I've forwarded this information to our technical team for further investigation, ticket reference D31083457. We will email you back when we receive an update on this.

As usual with these "forwarded to team" things, "We will email you back when we receive an update on this" part never happened so can you check it? Issue was exactly this.

It was also talked on @MovieCat 's this thread this month, on 2 April: https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/submissions-delayed-again/6086f482758f933b8d553c4f

But this thread seems disappeared now for some reason?

While the behavior of the problem is similar, there is a separate new ticket for these most recent reports mentioned in this thread, which is still being investigated.

I can confirm that the ticket you were referenced in October 2021 has since been resolved by our technical team, and the statuses on the reported contributions should now be displaying correctly within your Contribution History.  My apologies that you were not emailed a confirmation of the resolution.
