Issue with credits

Thank you for your quick reply and for sending me detailed advice. I did put requests for deletion on the Emmanuelle credits before I posted this question on the board.

Do you recommend that I wait to hear back about my requests before I submit new requests, and when do you think I will hear back?

@dede_roan​ Please check your update history at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history. Click on "Track Contribution" next to your prior submission(s) regarding these credits, and let us know what it says there, in terms of your edits being "Approved", "Pending", or "Declined".

The Emmanuelle requests were declined. I really need help with these since it's inaccurate and not something I should have to deal with quite frankly. Please advise.

Please send me the link on how to request the deletion of Emmanuelle First Contact. I should only stay on World of Desire and the other arrived footage. I am not even mentioned in the cast for that episode and I would appreciate more assistance. This process is not easy and is quite frustrating.

Dede: Go to the page for Emmanuelle in Space (1994) (TV) a/k/a Emmanuelle: First Contact, at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0132938/. Click "Edit page".

On the next screen, on the Cast line, select "Correct/Delete". Scroll down and click "Continue".

On the next screen, in the drop-down menu to the left of your name, select "Delete". Click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, your data will appear with a red background and you will be required to provide an explanation. In the Explanation box, enter something like this: "I am Dede Roan, and I did not appear in the TV movie Emmanuelle in Space (1994) (TV) also known as Emmanuelle: First Contact. I did play the role of Gypsy Girl #1 in the next film in the series, Emmanuelle: A World of Desire (1994) (TV), credited as Dede Shire, but I am already correctly listed on IMDb for that role. This particular entry is a duplicate under the wrong title and should be deleted." Click "Re-check these updates".

On the next scren, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Allow a few days for the correction to go through. If the correction isn't made, please track your contribution again as I suggested above.

Thank you, this is quite helpful! I have the DVDs for the two Emmanuelle films:  A World of Desire and First Contact.

I plan to watch the films and see clearly which one I am in, or if I am indeed in both. 

Then I will try this again and hopefully Gromit will help me fix the issue, which would really make a difference and give me some faith in all of this. If I am not in one of them, how can I show that I am not?

Nonetheless, I'll be able to explain it much more clearly once I watch the films. I'll also read the credits carefully, but I will not be able to take screenshots on a DVD, however, I will do so with my phone.

@dede_roan​ After you watch the films, please let us know whether you (a) appear in, and (b) are credited in, each of those films or not. That will enable us to determine exactly how you should be listed. (Note that if someone is listed in the credits of a movie, but doesn't appear in it, they should be listed on IMDb with an attribute of (credit only) or (scenes deleted).)

Once you provide us with these details, we should be able to advise you further.

That sounds like a great idea and plan. It may just take a little time to do so, since I am wrapping up the school year with my students. I also want to take the time to watch each film to be certain before I let you know what I find.
