Issue with Actor credit

In my film's page, the producer mistakenly created a profile for our lead actor, Steve Watts. Turns out, there are many Steve Watts, and OUR actor already had a page, with several credits on it. When deleting the current credit from my page, which would remove the "fake Steve Watts" so I could add the real one in, the IMDB moderators constantly decline my contribution and tell me I need to prove URL evidence. I have no URL evidence because this was a short film, and this information came from the actor itself, with whom I met up recently. How the hell can I get this credit removed in order to add the real actor in??
