Is this false information or plagiarism

A film crew who worked as a red camera man for an award winning documentary is claiming full cinematography credits. The cinematographer and director for that documentary is Sandy Patch and someone else is taking credit for this. How is this possible when all the credits and info on the film doesn’t say his name as a cinematographer for this documentary.
