Is there a block on deleting keywords in the Plot Timeframe and Subgenre categories?

The guideline is very clear: Episode-specific keywords submitted to the TV series page: Keywords submitted to the TV series page should be relevant to and describe the entire series. Keywords that are specific to a particular episode should be added to that episode only. I have devoted considerable time to the 30 episodes of the Syrian series Ebtasem Ayoha Al General (2023-2023). The previous contributor did not know the guideline and added THE SAME keywords to each episode, while leaving the keywords at the series level bank. I added the repeated keywords at the series level and deleted the repeated keywords for each of the 30 episodes. However… The deletions of 11 keywords in the Plot Timeframe and Subgenre categories in each episode were not accepted. Is there a block on deleting keywords in the Plot Timeframe and Subgenre categories? Should I resubmit the deletions of these 11 keywords for each of the 30 episodes? If I do, will these deletions be accepted?

Well, someone(s) at IMDb is/are not communicating with someother(s) at IMDb. I cannot resubmit deletions of the 11 keywords for the 30 episodes because they have now already been deleted! Thanks. The problem is: They were ALSO deleted at the series level! Now, if I could just persuade the genre list managers to be sensible and logical. THAT would be a great boost to the reportable and objective truth on IMDb. If only...

The deletions of incorrect subgenre and some plot timeline keywords are still not being accepted. Here is just one of several situations:

This continues to be an ongoing problem, especially when contributing deletions of subgenres in tv episodes when they already exist as keywords at the series level.

This block should be permanently removed.

Here are a couple of weird ones:

260923-040223-667000 Track Contribution	2026-09-23 04:02:23	Big Kids (2016) (TV) Keywords - 1 item corrected
	260923-035948-653000 Track Contribution	2026-09-23 03:59:48	Freaky Friday (2003) Keywords - 1 item corrected

In the first, Plot Timeframe was not accepted as a category. In the second, death-of-husband was accepted, but NOT death-of-father.

Again, I am not attempting to add keywords (which are already there), just categories.
