Is Daredevil (2003) not a superhero? Genre troubled history!

Okay, this was a vague discussion way back my account was hacked in 2020 and somehow it was deleted. So Daredevil 2003 has Matt who is blinded but skilled superhero who can "see" things. Now here in IMDb genres are getting troubled histories and pinpointing is a user's (specifically movie reviewer's) job. Why just Action and Crime included? And so, why on the basis Sci-fi removed? Despite it was removed on several occasions, and mind me asking is Daredevil 2015 series has same variant? And yes so it does have sci-fi genre. That makes absolutely no sense. I need to discuss why the sci-fi genre is removed from 2003 film's page!
