In Progress

Incorrect Year.

Has the wrong year. it is supposed to be 2023 not 2022.
The production of the film ended in January 2023, and distribution in Ukraine began on March 16.
The two screenings that were in 2022 were screenings of the rough cut (work in progress)

Hi @Wuseal -

We will confirm with our policy team if releasing a rough cut would count or not as a release to make sure we are listing the correct year on the title. Will come back to you as soon as we have an answer.

Cheers!

@Wuseal Just to add my five cents, usually screening work-in-progress rough cuts at festivals or other public events counts as a release date, according to IMDb guidelines

That said, there are exceptions, so maybe this can be eligible as one.

@MykolaYeriomin Thanks for the comment.
The purpose of such screenings was only to improve the quality of the final version, nothing more. But it turns out that due to the desire to make the film better, we jeopardized participation in film festivals and attractiveness for distributors (

The film's Facebook page only seems to describe the screenings as a world premiere and Ukrainian premiere, nothing about them being work-in-progress screenings.

Additional link about the world premiere in Berlin, apparently open to the public:

@Peter_pbn Thank you for pointing this out.

I will now find out why this happened and why it was not indicated

@Peter_pbn I found out that the page was run by hired specialists from SMM and according to them, they did not think that this information was important for the posts and therefore did not mention it.

Of course, they wanted it to be the best, but it turned out that it only hurt.
We may close these posts immediately or edit them to correct this terrible error(

Thank you!

Unfortunately, it may take some time to get a reply. If you have any references/evidence that the screenings were work-in-progress screenings, you could post it here. Otherwise I think it's unlikely that IMDb will change anything, considering the available evidence of the premieres.
