Incorrect dates for Guinness World Record awards
See here: https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0002737/1906/1/
The first Guinness World Records book was published in 1955, so it could not have been giving out awards prior to that date. It seems as if many of these awards have been erroneously listed as the same year the film was originally released, rather than the date the record/statistic was published in a Guinness World Records publication. This obviously must be the case for titles shown as being awarded before 1955, but likely includes some of the listings after 1955 as well.
Somebody who has the time, energy and resources to look up the correct dates should probably make corrections.

I question whether some of these records should be listed as "awards" in IMDb anyway. At https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0002737/2022/1/ there is an entry for "Fastest 100 m full-body burn relay (team of four)". I don't know exactly what this is, but it seems to be a record for a group of stuntpeople setting themselves on fire. That's not a the kind of movie, TV, or videogame award that belongs in IMDb. Similarly for the entry at https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0002737/2020/1/ that says "Longest airplane wheelie (distance)".

Hi timothy_gray_el34lojg1aih1-
Thanks for reporting this issue with these Awards! I've forwarded this information to the appropriate team for further investigation (#V966046117). We are so sorry it has taken this amount of time to resolve, due to our backlog we can't provide an exact timeframe as to when the issue at hand will be prioritized, for this reason we are closing this thread.
But know that we are still tracking this issue and it will be picked up. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will make sure to revisit it as soon as possible.
Cheers!
