Incorrect Connections: Kôkaku Kidôtai (2026) incorrectly linked under 'Version of'
Hello. Contribution #260804-224521-148000 was previously declined when trying to remove a 'spin-off' connection.However, the system has now updated the upcoming 2026 series (tt36517689) and incorrectly listed it as a 'Version of' the 1995 film (tt0113568), Stand Alone Complex, Arise, and SAC_2045.This is completely wrong. All of these titles are independent adaptations with their own separate continuities and timelines, stemming directly from Masamune Shirow's original 1989 manga. They are not versions of each other.Could a staff member please completely clear these incorrect links under the 'Version of' section? Thank you.

Hey, I was the one who requested this update.
As I understand it, "version of" applies to works adapted from the same source. In this case, all these works appear to be adapted from the manga.
"Version of the title is another version of a play/novel/etc., i.e. not originally written for the screen. For a TV series, it is a version of a series from, usually, another country."
Could you explain to me how this case doesn't apply? Aren't all the listed works different versions inspired by the manga?
