Incorrect 2025 release year due to market screening of unfinished film

Hello,

I am the producer of the film Milly, Queen of Merengue, and I need assistance correcting an inaccurate release date/year on the film’s IMDb page.

IMDb is currently showing 2025 as the film’s release year. However, the event listed in 2025 was a market screening of an unfinished version of the film, not an official public release, premiere, or theatrical screening. The film was not even completed at that time.

As a result, IMDb is displaying an incorrect release year for the film. This is seriously affecting the film, particularly as we are currently working on its international distribution and release.

I have submitted corrections through IMDb several times requesting that this 2025 market screening be removed from the release dates, but the information has not been corrected.

Could an IMDb staff member or moderator please advise me on what documentation or evidence is required to remove this market screening from the film’s release dates and correct the year?

I am the film’s producer and can provide supporting documentation confirming the film’s completion and official release/premiere dates if necessary.
