IMDB unable to verify my contribution for an addition to a movie's cast

I found that IMDB's listing of Moonraker was somehow missing one of the lead roles. Michael Lonsdale, who played the villain Hugo Drax, was nowhere to be found in the cast list.

I tried adding him but IMDB rejected my contribution and gave the vague and elusive "unable to verify" explanation.

The IMDB page for Moonraker includes over 300 photos. Many of these photos include Michael Lonsdale and show his name in the caption. Several other photos are of the original movie poster, which clearly lists Michael Lonsdale as the third-billed actor in the film.

Someone contributed a storyline that includes mention of the villain, Hugo Drax, and yet the IMDB page for Moonraker lists no such role in the film. How exactly are they trying to verify? They don't even need to look anywhere other than IMDB to get verification, and yet they were still unable to verify my contribution
