IMDb staff - Genre Keywords to Delete and Block

Dear @Michelle,

The keywords in this list all should be deleted and blocked from IMDb. They are all de facto genre keywords, which are not allowed under the keywords guidelines. Please note that none of these keywords are subgenres or multiple-genre keywords, which are allowed per the revised keywords guidelines.

Despite what you might hear from another top contributor, every single keyword in this list has been thoroughly "audited" and is ready to be deleted and blocked. No mergers or auto-conversions are necessary.

Some of these keywords might not currently have any titles. These keywords should still be blocked, so that they cannot be re-created in the future.

but not simply "short film"

Repeating genres - For example, we have the genres Romance and Drama so you can submit these as genres to the title rather than submitting the keyword romantic-drama. For an exceptional genre on an episode that does not relate to the overall series, please see the -episode special keywords below.

Genre Definitions

Short

Any theatrical film or made-for-video title with a running time of less than 45 minutes, i.e., 44 minutes or less, or any TV series or TV movie with a running time of less than 22 minutes, i.e. 21 minutes or less. (A "half-hour" television program should not be listed as a Short.) If known, please submit the running time if we do not have one on record. Objective.

Examples: Hair Love (2019) |Kitbull (2019) | World of Tomorrow (2015)
Note: the short genre no longer needs to be added to Music Videos, because they now have their own title type.

@Michelle Out of all my pending keyword requests, this one is arguably most important. It would be good to delete and block all of these genre keywords soon, so that people don't keep using them following our "audits."

This is a time-sensitive thread, because all of the keywords have been "audited," and the longer the list goes on without action by staff, the more likely some of these genre keywords may be used by contributors in lieu of choosing the correct genre(s) in the genre field. I do try to check the keywords from time to time, but that is getting somewhat tedious because the post has been pending for a couple months now.

Here is the list of keywords that still need to be deleted and blocked.

When I bump this post, am I screwing up my chances of getting staff to see it? Are they working through a backlog chronologically based on the times of the most recent responses on posts, such that when I bump this post, it moves it to the bottom of the pile?
