IMDb should to allow the first profile picture for free

You could change it. Only is one picture.  

I was contributing with a profile for a beginner actress. I wanted to upload a picture to that profile but I can't. For now I don't want to pay for it. It is only a hobby for me. But I like to see profiles with pictures in IMDb. For that reason I was wishing IMDb allow the first picture for every profile. It looks better with picture.

For example this is the profile I wanted to add the picture. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6890947/?ref_=nv_sr_1 I would like to add it too to another actors and actress.

I know but Amazon has too much money now. Why they can't contribute too to their system? Is better see an actor profile with picture that without pictures. I wrote to Amazon to let they know about it. They recommended me to write it here and depending how many peoples react to it they can consider something about the idea.  However I am writing it here to see other people can request it. It is not a bad idea to allow the first picture free of charge. If a person want to upload more pictures or the other benefits they can get the pro membership.

What I don't know is why people only accept what company decides and can't demand for something. 

why? It is not necesary because it could be from now and they can cancel I think. However I think people with the IMDb Pro has another benefits. You can still paying for it if you can if you like the other benefits it offers.

Ed Jones I think profiles without pictures is not good. However you can choose not upload a picture of you. Is your decision but too many actors maybe want to upload it. Or fans want to upload a picture of that actor. I think too many famous actors doesn't have to pay for it to has a picture of them. But as they are famous IMDb put a pictures of them. And they have the money to pay for it. But the new one maybe is difficult to pay for it. BUT if they has the money they could pay for it to has the other benefits it offer and that is great. But IMDb shout allow the first for free. And me as a contributor can contribute uploading pictures for profiles without it. For example too many actors from Latin America that are great actors but they doesn't a picture.

People could do a request for it. 

Hi, Lucy. You could suppose that the IMDbPro settings would take precedence over the IMDb settings, so page claimers would still get what they are paying for.

If you only accept what company set for you is ok. Peoples only accept things without demand or request something. If people request something company like Amazon can accept because what I am saying is not a bad idea. You could give something and then offer a better benefits to get people pay for their services. But is ok.. Stay paying for what the companies want.
