IMDB ruined the movie with critical spoiler

On the main page for the movie Passengers, IMDB gives a one-sentence plot which gives away the whole movie!  By saying 1 passenger when there are clearly 2 it gives away that he woke her up for company.  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1355644/

How can this be stopped so this movie doesn't get ruined for others?

It is not a spoiler we learn it in the first five minutes of the film.

A reader of the plot outline cannot automatically infer with certainty that the first passenger to awake from cryosleep caused a second to awake from the same rather than that the malfunction occurred a second time causing the same type of event as the first. Ergo, there is no spoiler. Plus, as cinephile pointed out, early on it is revealed he brought her out of cryosleep because he was feeling lonely. However, the option does exist for IMDb contributors to edit the plot outline in such a way that become just as misleading as the official trailers for the movie.

While this probably won’t fall heavily under ”spoilers”,  I see no reason why the Plot Outline couldn’t be changed.

Archive.org shows the outline until 2020 was:

A spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in its sleep chambers. As a result, two passengers are awakened 90 years early.
