IMDb images of animated characters
I’m finding it frustrating that IMDb has granted its users the ability to submit images of favourite films/characters, but that these images can not appear under the right character page, particularly in regard to animated characters.
With animated characters, they have voice actors who either voice one character or many characters. Where these actors voice multiple characters, there is a problem: the image can be submitted but it doesn’t always appear on the character page.
For instance:I had submitted an image for the 2009 Transformers film for the character of Soundwave. However, his voice actor Frank Welker was voicing multiple characters in that film, so the image went through but it’s not on Soundwave’s character page.
Similarly, on the Transformers 2015 series Khary Payton had voiced more than one character (Grimlock, Divebomb, Bisk), but while the image can go through it doesn't go to the appropriate character page.
This isn’t an uncommon issue: where there are films/series with voice actors who have played more than one animated character the image doesn’t always go through to the character page.
My idea is that to resolve this issue, the character tag needs to be made available/valid in submitting the image. It would help in identifying which character’s gallery the image can be submitted to.
