IMDb ignores evidence for uncredited cameo appearance addition

What's the matter with IMDb? It seems to be asleep at the wheel. Anne Bancroft (Mrs. Mel Brooks) does an uncredited appearance in Blazing Saddles. That's a fact (it's hardly a secret). I attempted to add her to the cast list and provided plenty of evidence including a freeze frame of the scene and I get that stupid error message, "can't verify." I'd ask her to write and and tell IMDb herself, but she's dead. IMDb accepted over 30 uncredited performers for Saddles yet the most interesting one gets the raspberry. Is anyone even there to read the explanation sent in? I'm beginning to think a machine just spits out these can't verify messages automatically just so actual people don't have to break a sweat. Anyone have any ideas?
