IMDb for Authors
Hi there,
Do you think there could ever be a section for writers of novels added to the site? I’m a self publishing author myself and I would sign up to have a profile on here immediately!
It would certainly help authors like myself building up our work and possibility of getting noticed by people within film to adapt our work.
Plus it would bring in more revenue for IMDb as authors would have to sign up to become pro users.

If you have any film credits, IMDb should have a name page with your credits.
IMDb has a name page for Dan Barnes (VII) Writer:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9493293/
If you do not have any film credits you can subscribe to IMDbPro. With an IMDbPro subscription you can create a name page for your self.

How can I join IMDbPro?

What is IMDbPro?
With a name page, you can add your published written works to an "Other Works" page and write a short biography for yourself. For example, this is the "Other Works" page for Michael Crichton:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000341/otherworks
This is his biography:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000341/bio
