I am running a query on the title.basics table. In the genres field, there is a max of three comma-separated values. On the website, some movies have four or more genres on the page. Does anyone know where this additional data is stored?

For example - Key Largo (1948) has three categories listed under the poster image - Action, Crime, Drama.

Further down the page below Taglines, there is a heading for Genres that has five values - Action, Crime, Drama, Film-Noir, Thriller.

I am trying to find where the last two values are stored.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @jcornelison -

I have filed a ticket (#V928471607)for the appropriate tech team to confirm if the full genre information is available and if so, where to locate it.  As soon as I have confirmation I will post the details here.

Hi @jcornelison -

I'm circling back to confirm that our free datasets are limited to only display three genres, so the full genre information for a title is unavailable.

@Michelle

Thank you for looking into this for me. I am writing an article. Is there a way to request the data?

Thanks aging

@jcornelison Hi-

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide custom data reports. I'm not certain what specifically you are seeking for your article, however, you can try using our Advance Title Search feature to locate certain titles based on genre selection.

Let us know if you have further questions!

Cheers!
