IMDB continue to refuse to delete a film I produced even though it was never released
For the past 6 months, I have been trying to get IMDB to delete a film I made nearly a decade ago, as it was never released, online or in cinemas. However, every customer service person I speak to just repeats a copy/paste response, despite their identikit responses clearly outlining that:
“A deletion would only be approved if the title is proved to have never been released”
So I am baffled by IMDB customer support team continuing to refuse my request as the producer of the film, which was NEVER RELEASED. This is having serious career implications and jeopardising a number of future opportunities, so IMDBs refusal to engage in any meaningful conversation or attempt at a resolution is frankly disgusting.
I have seen a number of other people facing similar problems, but never regarding a film that literally hasn’t been released, and refusing a request from the actual owner of the rights to the film. It’s a ridiculous farce and highlights some serious legal, ownership and data black holes in IMDBs DNA.
As your customer service people refuse to respond with anything but a copy/paste job, I would like to speak to someone who is able to have an actual conversation about this ongoing issue, and help me resolve this ASAP.

Hello Misha,
Can you help me with the name of the title that you are trying to remove? in order to take a look for you.
