IMDB changed previously correct credits to incorrect credits and refuses to change it back, even with evidence!

My son worked on two episodes of a long-time crime recreation show. In both episodes, his character names were Brian and Bryan (coincidence, yes, but it was two different crimes, two different episodes). His name is Blake. He was born 15 YEARS after these crimes were committed. The Brian and Bryan were 8 and 10 respectively when the crimes happened, making them both ballpark 30+yrs old today in 2022. My son is 7yrs old today, and, thankfully, has never been the victim of any crime, much less a crime like these where the mother/stepmother were brutally murdered (in fact, I am his mom, and aside from wanting to throw the IMDB trolls into the deepest darkest pits of the earth due to the frustration IMDB has offered on a silver platter to me, am otherwise perfectly fine, healthy, and quite ALIVE).

When his credits were added to IMDB, they were correctly listed as ACTOR credits, because, indeed, he submitted to a casting notice, auditioned, was cast, signed an actor contract, was paid, filmed recreation scenes in front of a full camera crew, had a studio teacher, provided his work permit to say he was an actor on a set.... the whole nine yards. And all was fine. (I won't post the callsheet here because it's full of direct contact info for a LOT of people, but I have been sending the callsheet via the upload form and including the code in my responses)

Some time in the last, maybe month or so, IMDB decided, quite randomly, to change his credits, and ONLY his credits (among the full cast in both episodes, just his credits) to "self" credits.

Again, no one else in the cast had their credits changed to "self". Just him. For no reason. At all.

I calmly submitted changes to IMDB, submitting the callsheet to prove that indeed he was an actor on a tv production set, and not at all playing "self". And additionally indicated that he was not even born until 15 years AFTER these crimes had happened, so he definitely was not involved.

Now, in order to submit a change in IMDB, there has to be an actual change, so I just kept changing how you spell "Brian/Bryan" in order to have something to submit, even though now the names were now incorrect.

The trolls under the bridge at IMDB keep ignoring the evidence I am uploading. Do I need to submit the casting notices? The emails offering his employment? I don't get it. All they do is change the spelling of the name, but are ignoring the actual request, which is to recredit the episodes as an ACTOR.

I know this is a silly thing, but now I am just flaming mad at those awful IMDB trolls and am coming here for one last grasp at the straws.

How in the hell do we change it back??? they keep ignoring every request, and I'm honestly getting ruder and more obnoxious as my frustration with this grows and grows.

I thought IMDB prided itself on only publishing facts? I thought IMDB wants to be a trusted resource on all things industry? I mean, it's why they won't remove women actors birthdates (mine included), despite a lawsuit, because birthdates are factually accurate. Right? So why are they so willing to publish lies NOW, all of a sudden? Can I take this little thing to the press and let them know that IMDB does, in fact, LIE??? And publish FALSE information? Because that's where I am now.

I am so frustrated with this site. I refuse to give my money over for us to have paid profiles, when this is how they treat you even before you are a paying customer.

It seems since I posted this, someone has gone in and corrected the issue. But gosh darn, why do we have to get flaming angry for anything to happen over there?

It looks like you were trying to fix it by changing character names but that was not the issue, it was a keyword issue.

I added reenactment keyword to both episodes and now they are listed under actor here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7428420/

You should change character names back to correct ones. I think these are not credited onscreen right? So I can't check what was the correct character names for both episodes.
