Why did my image quality change?

Behind the scenes there are factors that can change how the same image might look across different mediums, such as on:

• A digital camera
• A photo editor
• A website
• Printed paper

The best way to explain this is that just as there are different image file types (e.g. JPEG and PNG), there are also different color profiles. Two common examples include AdobeRBG and sRGB. Depending on profile associated with the image, it might change how it'll look when uploaded to the website:(...)
