I have tried repeatedly to get a movie poster inserted for a title. Whereas the contribution is approved for publication, it is subsequently declined because the “contribution did not meet our formatting standards” Reference Number: #210802-191516-955902. Any clues on how I should proceed? Thanks.

Hi varma -
I was able to review the Poster image and can confirm that it was declined because the image does not appear to be the full image of the poster (ie. the image was a little pixelated and title and text was cut-off from the image).
For details on our current image formatting, IMDb supports JPEG and PNG images. Images must be no smaller than 50KB and no larger than 20MB. Both the image height and width must be between 500 and 8000 pixels. Based on the dimensions, IMDb may crop the image as necessary.
Additionally, for posters, to minimize cropping, we recommend a vertical alignment (i.e. portrait orientation) with an aspect ratio of 1:0.675. While IMDb may accept low resolution images for older content, we recommend always providing the highest quality image available.
If you have the full image for the poster, I encourage you to resubmit and our editors will take another look.
Cheers!
