Identity Fraud, someone is stealing my identity
Hello,
my name is Ariane Ducasse I am a young french actress and I’m having a very big problem because someone created a fake IMDB Profile about me with only fake informations on it.
About my life and most importantly about my career. I don’t know how to delete it because I’m not having any acess to it.
Can someone help me ?
This impersonation can cause me really big problems to work as an actress, it’s terrible, please help.

Les comptes sont difficiles à supprimer. C’est parce que IMDb a habituellement la volonté d’exhaustivité. Donc, encore une fois le compte ne peut probablement pas être supprimé. Par contre, les informations peuvent être changées même par des utilisateurs réguliers, car IMDb fonctionne par contribution volontaire. Si je voulais modifier la page vers laquelle renvoie le premier lien, je descendrais tout en bas, jusqu’à la section Contribute to this page et ensuite, j’appuierais sur Edit page. Une fois que je suis là, j’ai l’option de suggérer des modifications pour bien des sections de la page. Il est simplement important de regarder les preuves requises pour chaque section. Par exemple, si vous voulez prouver que vous apparaissez dans un film, vous pourriez envoyer un lien qui donne accès à une image du générique. Si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise à modifier vous-même votre page, des utilisateurs de ce forum ou des administrateurs peuvent vous aider.
De plus, si vous souhaitez obtenir plus de contrôle sur votre page, par exemple, ajouter une photo. Il est possible de vous créer un compte IMDbpro et de réclamer votre page. I probably didn’t understand everything, but if the (main) problem is biography, I would think that you can edit/correct/expand it. And you should. Just note that it’s difficult to outright ”delete” it.
At least the part below is pretty weak writing and almost sounds like it was written by the person close to this ”French filmmaker”. Promotion, in a way.
”She was discovered by French Filmmaker *** when he was looking for Russian actresses for his film French Croissant (2018) her pale skin, eyes and the shape of her face convinced him. She also starred in French Croissant (2018) a superhero film inspired by Barbarella (1968).”

It seems that the bio and the link to the film (fake or not) are removed. Or perhaps I am missing something.

Consider writing (well, submit, IMDb staff has to accept it first) your ”own” biography to your name page now that the old one was removed. It can help in the future (probably easier to write your original one than to update/edit/correct the existing one).
Your agent can probably help, but it’s good to note that good biographies are not just promotion, let alone ”fluff”. (edit: Biographies are called ”Mini-biographies” in the guide)
