Idea to protest IMDb's refusal to remove DOBs
In response to a recent post from someone requesting that her DOB be removed for security (not age discrimination) reasons and IMDb refusing, I'm wondering: If anyone knows IMDb's Tax ID number, account numbers, etc. and posts them online where everyone can see them, how would IMDb like that? As they say, it's your First Amendment right to post any kind of factual and truthful information. (Don't do any illegal activity yourself with that information though, or put it online if it's actually illegal to do so; this idea is just to give IMDb "an eye for an eye" for posting and refusing to remove information that could be useful to identity thieves.)
The point of this post is it's one matter for IMDb to not remove a date of birth for vanity reasons and wanting to appear younger, but it's another when they refuse when someone wants it removed due to identity theft and privacy concerns.

Besides, you are probably very aware that the regular IMDb employees doesn't make these kind of decisions in the first place. They basically just follow certain rules.

I for one like to see how old someone is if I'm younger or older or when their time of death was and how old they were at the time.I also assume they need more information to steal someones identity such as mothers maiden name, ssn which the site doesn't provide.
And thanks to Kelly L for helping prove my point.
