Idea: Add mental health/trigger warning to parents guide
Hi IMDB, would you be able to add a mental illness warning/trigger warning section to the parents guide? It could use the same severity ratings as the violence, sex and drugs categories, but it would focus on potential triggers for people. For example, I have recently become aware that people with eating disorders struggle with certain content, ranging from offhand comments about a character needing to lose weight to be pretty, or a character actually having anorexia or bulimia. Currently there is no way for them to filter this content before viewing. I’m not saying mental health representation is a bad thing but a section that gives you a heads up for these triggers would be a huge help. It could have filters and things about specific triggers (e.g self harm, suicide, depression etc) so you can target triggers. It could be monitored by IMDB but have comments from viewers who have found additional triggers personally. Please help get this the attention of IMDb workers, I’m only 14 and have no way of starting a system like this by myself but this would be a huge help for many people!

Hello.
I am just a contributor, but many years ago, I started adding a specific trigger warning keyword to certain films and tv episodes. I still do. I rather not say the keyword because you are too young and I don't know if it may have the opposite effect on you.
I do add that kind of info in the Parents Guide, but sometimes it's under Spoiler. You can also find mental health related keyword, but you may find spoiler keywords too.
I hope it helps, please excuse my poor English.
Take care!
