Our festival is recognized as Asia's longest-running LGBTQ film festivals, having celebrated its 36th anniversary just 3 weeks ago. We attract international filmmakers and actors each year and present a Jury Award for the Best Short Film, underscoring our commitment to recognizing and promoting talent in the LGBTQ community. Our initial inquiry was met with a response indicating that our festival is not eligible. However, the response was quite generic, stating, "We have reviewed your request and unfortunately, the Event is not eligible at this time." We would greatly appreciate a more detailed explanation of the criteria that led to this decision. Specifically, we would like to understand: The specific eligibility criteria that our festival did not meet. Any steps we might take to enhance our eligibility for future consideration. How our Jury Award recipients can be acknowledged on IMDb, as we believe they deserve recognition for their work.
